ATOMS ACCOMPLISHMENTS
CONGRATULATONS NIHL BANNER
WINNERS
Congratulations to Rich Kuzmeski & his Bantam Gold Team
and Jim Meyer & his Mite Elite Team as they concluded their NIHL seasons
finishing 3rd and 4th in their respective divisions.
2007 - 2008 MK Award- We are
pleased to announce that Chris Bretzlauf is this year's winner of the fifth annual MK Award.
This award which honors not just the best athlete but a young man or woman
who possesses the qualities and potential to become a future leader in
business, education or our community. In addition to Chris this
year's special young men nominated for the award included Tim Martin, Doug Ollendick, and Westley Zimmer.

2007 - 2008 AAA Award Winners-
The All Around Atom (AAA) award is given by
the head coach of each team to the player who best exhibits the qualities
of Attitude, Enthusiasm, Integrity, Leadership, Participation, Promptness,
Self-Motivation, Sportsmanship, and Work Ethic. This year's winners are:

Brock Hill - Mite AA
Thomas Munro - Squirt A
Luc DeLacluyse - Squirt AA
Jake Tomkowiak - Pee Wee AA
Matt Hirsch - Bantam A
Alec Heredia - Bantam AA

Academically
speaking, the Atoms hit the mark during the 2007 - 2008
season. We had

Atoms Scholar Award Winners - in which a player (either High
School or Grammar School) will be recognized for their work if they
obtain a "B" average or better for any reporting
period. The Atoms had

players that earned NIHL Scholar Award Winners - in
which a player must meet the following requirements - High School players
("B" average or better in any reporting period.)
Grammar School players (straight "A" with the exception of
gym classes in any reporting period.) The CSDHL Scholar Award
had

Atoms players earn an award. Congratulations to all
the Atoms players who not only excelled on the ice but focused and
achieved in the classroom.
